Protective coating for fire pump system

Fire pumps after application of rubber protective coating

Our engineers have completed protective coating application work for an LPG transporter vessel operated by one of the world’s oil giants.

The customer required some piping from the fire pump system to be internally rubber coated.

This involved splitting the pipes, applying the protective rubber coating, re-welding the split pipes and finally painting the exterior.

Specialised work such as this requires extreme care and attention to ensure the coating covers all of the internal surfaces of the pipework.

Engineers at Westin Pumps are experienced in this type of project and we welcome your enquiries.
