Restoring a case from a submersible pump

We recently received a large case from a submersible pump whose inside was seriously worn and cavitated.

To give the case a new lease of life, our specialist team started by shot blasting the inside and outside and then priming the exterior face for painting.

The cavities on the inside were then filled with a special hard wearing filler. The whole surface was then coated with a base coat followed by two coats of a protective ceramic paint.

The work done ensured that the case will be able to function effectively for many more years to come. Our engineers are fully trained in pump supply and repair/protective coatings and all aspects of testing. To find out more about our pump supply and repairs, take a look here.
